I went for a prayer walk around part of the office today, inviting God's presence and praying for His people here to rise up, to stand in the gap. Also prayed for blessings as well before I returned to my desk to wait for the prayer group from 8.20am to 8.30am.
Today, God revealed to me.... there are few miracles here because of unbelief, so I prayed against that, that the people here would remember what He has done for them. The room also had posters with the question 'Missing something?' This is a work-related question but it spoke to me as well. Jesus is missing from this place because of the unbelief.
I sang softly:
I call Your Name, Lord, You reply,
You bring Your kingdom and stand by my side,
Giver of life, more than I need,
Father, you're everything that's precious to me,
There is no one like you, Lord, in all the earth.
Dear Lord,
may your kingdom come and your will be done. Forgive us for our sins for behaving like Sunday Christians who only want to be fed. Help us to rise up to be your harvesters for the time is near. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.
